FOCUS WV provides funding and technical assistance to implement projects which will advance the redevelopment of WV Brownfield Sites. The Program provides support to local project champions, helping them to make small steps such as engaging a project team, preparing a grant application, or completing due diligence to achieve larger project milestones such as receiving additional funding or transferring property. FOCUS WV Program Staff are familiar with the brownfield assessment, cleanup, and redevelopment process and are available to provide guidance and technical assistance to local champions through the application process and project term.
FOCUS WV is funded through a grant from the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation.
