Vienna, WV – Former Johns Manville Site

The City of Vienna, WV is applying for a 2017 EPA Brownfields Site-Specific Hazardous Cleanup grant for the former Johns Manville site located within city limits.  They will apply for the maximum amount of $200,000.  Applying for hazardous substances cleanup funding will allow the City to clean up the site for hazardous substances, pollutants, contaminants, and/or controlled substances.

The application is due December 22nd, 2016, and we request that community members and stakeholders review the draft application below and submit comments as soon as possible and no later than December 9th.  To submit comments on the draft application or to communicate your willingness to support the funding request, please download and submit the comment form below or email your comments to Paul Thornton, Project Director.
