We are hiring at our southern Center at Marshall University in Huntington, WV for an Economic Development Specialist and Research Associate! 

The WV Brownfields Assistance Center (WVBAC), operating within the Center for Environmental, Geotechnical and Applied Sciences (CEGAS) has an opening for an Economic Development Specialist in community, county and regional economic development and resiliency. Reporting to the Brownfields Assistance Center Director, the Economic Development Specialist will assist with multiple site-specific projects throughout the state with economic development components related to brownfields while also providing expertise to CEGAS projects that will include rural community economic development and resiliency, county-wide economic endeavors, and region-based economic development activities. The position will also contribute to outreach and educational services, including conferences, webinars, and training events, and will include interaction with other departments and Centers within Marshall University.
