The WV Brownfields & Main Street Conference is currently accepting brief descriptions of your program, project, or research for this year’s Redevelopment Poster Gallery. If approved, you will turn the content you provide into a poster to be showcased at the conference in Summersville on September 10-12. • Community engagement and environmental justice
  • State or federal policy related to revitalization
  • Interactive posters that pose a question or discussion to the audience

The WV Brownfields & Main Street Conference combines educational programs with networking opportunities for communities, local governments, development professionals, and service providers. The conference features mobile workshops, expert panels, interactive workshops, technical training, and project case studies.

The Conference Planning Committee is currently seeking session ideas to fill limited slots for the 2024 WV Brownfields & Main Street Conference on September 10-12.  Ideal sessions should be dynamic and diverse sessions with a broad appeal to brownfield and downtown participants.  Specific topics of interest include tourism and recreation, renewable energy, environmental justice, and other trending topics in redevelopment, as well as those that may qualify for continuing education credits for environmental professionals, certified planners, and others.

The call for live sessions is now closed.  View the agenda.
